The ADR practice group is led by Dr. Dalia Foigt, the managing partner of Regija Borenius, who is an arbitrator of:

  • Vilnius Court of Commercial Arbitration and its predecessors,
  • London Court of International Commercial Arbitration.

Dr. Dalia Foigt was a stagier at the German, Norwegian and Swedish arbitration institutions. Further, she headed the Regija Borenius team which represented a Bulgarian company in the first case of commercial arbitration in Lithuania. One of the cornerstones of the practice at Regija Borenius is the representation of clients in resolution of disputes provision of legal services to business.

 

The Lithuanian legal framework allows for settlements out of court in disputes arising between legal and/or natural persons. We represent parties where such settlement demands an attention of a third person – an arbiter, a conciliator or a mediator.

Representative Transactions

  • Managing partner of Regija Borenius Dr. Dalia Foigt was a legal expert of the law of the Republic of Lithuania in the dispute between the Government of the Republic of Lithuania and Svenska Petroleum Explorations.
  • Regija Borenius represented a large Norwegian construction company in a dispute with a Lithuanian company according to the Arbitration Rules of the International Chamber of Commerce.
